Jinny Powers Berten, president of Fountain Square Publishing, is a graduate of Xavier University and lives in Cincinnati. Jinny is a former high school history teacher with extensive volunteer and professional experience in education. Currently, she is involved with several Cincinnati civic projects and the Underground Railway Museum.
Elizabeth W. Schott, illustrator and designer, is a native of Cincinnati. She has her BFA in Fine Arts and Education from Emory and Henry College, Abingdon, Virginia. She attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati for sculpture and then did postgraduate work in Advertising Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Beth is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America and the Cincinnati Art Club. She is also a member of the Portrait Society of America and A Stroke of Genius Portrait artist. In 2005, she was honored to be chosen as one of the artists to participate in the exhibit, "Faces of the Fallen," in a tribute to fallen soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq.
